Hello my name is Mark Schwab and I have been a car guy all my life. I spent years working in auto parts and was building classic and fast cars as a kid. After taking a break from cars to build a career now I am back at it big time. I have gotten my shop built and am in the process of setting it up to do the kind of work I love. I am devoting this web site to the cars I have built in the past and future projects. Also I am trying to make a haven for other car guys (and gals) to be able to chat and pass around ideas and suggestions about their cars.

I have always been kind of a Ford guy. My first car is a 1957 Ford Retractable and I have built other retractables and have helped people with theirs. At one point in time I had 14 of them. Always liked the cars and still have three of them. Unfortunately all needing lots of work. I built a 1967 Mustang fastback years ago with a 427 medium riser in it and managed to survive it. I have owned a 1970 Cougar Eliminator for ever and plan on keeping it that long. But at the same time I grew fond of the step down Hudson's which I have built a couple of those. I will own another one someday. The car in the picture is one of two cars that my dad and I built years ago. It was sold at auction about 20 years ago along with a 1955 Crown Victoria that I will be posting pictures of. I have spent a lot of time learning and studying late 50's and early 60's Fords.

My current project is a 1967 Barracuda that my partner and I are building. Very radical and very cool. Starting with a Keith Black 528 Hemi and going from there. I will be spending a lot of space on the Plum Crazy Creation. The car is sold and long gone Hooray. I have some pictures of the car posted in the album.

Now working on Andrew's Black Truck. The F250 was really sad and is a sacred cow. It has been striipped to bare frame blasted and cleaned. The body work is in progress and working toward early summer completion. After all this maybe I can start my own projects.

Try my chat and blog on the contact page.

Thanks for looking and keep preserving those relics.

Mark
